California Community College (CCC)
The California Community Colleges system consists of 116 colleges.
CCC Enrollment
The CCC Enrollment count is taken from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office – Management Information Systems Data Mart.
Application Year
Each student who plans to attend a college applies for financial aid for the following academic year.

CSAC receives all federal and state applications for California aid applicants. Once the application progress period begins, the CCC Dashboard is refreshed on a weekly basis with new applications and awards. Final application and award data is presented annually in the fall.
FAFSA/CA Dream Act Applications
Submitted
Either application submitted to the California Student Aid Commission by a student who has any CCC listed in any portion on the FAFSA/CADAA
- FAFSA: A FAFSA submitted by a student who has a CCC listed on their application; this includes applications with a blank SAI. CSAC does not receive applications with missing contributors.
- CADAA: A CADAA submitted to the California Student Aid Commission by a student who has a CCC listed on their application; this includes applications with a blank SAI and/or missing parent signature.
Completed
A FAFSA/CADAA submitted by a student who has a CCC listed on their application that can be processed for financial aid by the California Student Aid Commission. All completed applications have an SAI value.
California Community Colleges may use the California Community College FAFSA/CADAA Completion Dashboard (CCC Dashboard) to track the count of financial aid applications submitted for the 2024-25 academic year. The CCC Dashboard is a vital tool that supports the California Community College’ Vision 2030, specifically Goal number 3, Equity in Support and outcome number 5 to maximize financial aid for community college students.
During this time California Community Colleges, districts and counties can use the CCC Dashboard to gauge the submission and completion of the FAFSA and CADAA through September 30th. The CCC Dashboard provides progress updates on FAFSA/CADAA completion and submission rates by community college campus, districts and counties on a weekly basis: Students will be counted if that community college campus is listed on their FAFSA/ (student may be counted for multiple schools).
a) Enrollment counts only include students with credit enrollment and are obtained from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office – Management Information Systems
Data Mart.
b) FAFSA and CADAA counts are updated twice per week (Sunday and Thursday) and reflect the total counts of submitted and completed financial aid applications for your school. The dashboard will be updated on a weekly basis until September 30th.
Application submission data is updated from November through September 30 of the following year. The dashboard is refreshed twice a week on Thursday and Sunday nights. The dashboard will be updated on a weekly basis until September 30.
a) A submitted FAFSA/CADAA application can have a valid SAI or NULL SAI.
b) A completed FAFSA/CADAA must have a valid SAI.
The CCC Dashboard will display the prior year and current year data and will track FAFSA/CADAA submissions and completions through September 30th.
a) The submitted percentage is calculated by dividing the number of submitted apps by the enrollment number.

Please contact the designated System Administrator at your campus or district. They can create a WebGrants profile for you. If you do not know who your System Administrator is or don’t have one, please contact the California Student Aid Commission at 1-888-294-0153. With a WebGrants account, you can download student specific reports that can help you increase financial aid completions.

Here you can find outreach materials and training opportunities to better inform your students about the various types of financial aid applications and opportunities.
Students and families can attend FREE Cash for College workshops throughout the year, across California for help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA), by the April 2 priority deadline and September 2 deadline for community college and foster youth students. If you are interested in hosting or promoting a Cash-4-College event please visit https://www.cash4college.csac.ca.gov. Here you can search for workshops by location, zip code, school name and county.
As students can list multiples community colleges campuses on their FAFSA or CADAA during the application period, each campus is given credit for the submitted or completed application which may exceed the enrollment count and cause the over 100% display. The overall California Community College Students count on the main page reflects a distinct student count.
